Full scope, duration, weekly hours, mentor ratio and price for each of the three AI development tracks offered by Synapt Works.
Our Approach
How the Track System Works
Choose Entry Point
Each track lists its entry expectations. Engineers with existing Python-in-production experience may enter at the Modelling or Deployment track directly.
Enrol in a Cohort
Cohorts open on a fixed schedule. Cohort size is capped to maintain the stated mentor ratio. Payment is confirmed before the cohort start date.
Work Through the Track
Recorded material, live sessions in MYT, reviewed exercises, written feedback per submission. Completion record issued at the end describing what was covered.
Track 01
Signal Basics Track
RM 720
A nine-week track covering Python for numerical work, data structures for model inputs, probability and linear algebra applied directly to worked examples, and a first end-to-end pipeline from raw file to evaluated prediction. Written for engineers from adjacent fields such as embedded systems, network operations or scientific computing.
Duration
9 weeks
Weekly hours
9 hrs / week
Mentor ratio
1 : 12
Live sessions
Twice weekly, MYT
Included
- Twice-weekly live sessions in Malaysian time
- Five reviewed exercises with written feedback
- Small pipeline project from raw file to evaluated prediction
- Recorded material for all units
- Completion record listing topics covered
Entry Expectations
Some programming experience in any language. Comfort with basic arithmetic and algebra. No prior machine learning or Python experience required.
Track 02
Instrumented Modelling Track
RM 2,640
A seventeen-week track on building models with measurement built in from the first commit, covering architectures for vision and language, experiment tracking, ablation discipline, reproducible environments and honest reporting of what a model does not do. Suited to learners who have finished the basics track or who already ship Python in production.
Duration
17 weeks
Weekly hours
13 hrs / week
Mentor ratio
1 : 8
Live sessions
Weekly, MYT
Included
- GPU credits for the duration of the track
- Weekly live sessions in Malaysian time
- Experiment tracking workspace
- Four reviewed milestones with written feedback
- Written ablation report as a deliverable
- Peer review circles
- Completion record with project attached
Entry Expectations
Completion of Signal Basics, or demonstrated ability to write and debug Python scripts in a production environment. Familiarity with NumPy and basic linear algebra.
Track 03
Deployment & Reliability Track
RM 4,530
A twenty-three-week track on running model-based systems under real load, covering serving architecture, latency budgets, retrieval pipelines, evaluation harnesses in production, monitoring, incident practice, rollback design and cost reporting to stakeholders. Aimed at engineers who will carry a pager for a system they helped build.
Duration
23 weeks
Weekly hours
15 hrs / week
Mentor ratio
1 : 6
Live sessions
Weekly, MYT
Included

- Weekly mentor sessions in MYT
- Two structured incident simulation exercises
- Monitoring dashboard built by the learner
- Two architecture reviews with practising engineers
- Capstone system running for four weeks under observation
- Detailed completion record describing capstone and measured behaviour
Entry Expectations
Completion of Instrumented Modelling, or equivalent experience shipping model-based systems to production including experiment tracking and reproducible environments.

Standards
Protocols That Apply Across All Tracks
Data Privacy
Exercise submissions and learner data are held per our Privacy Policy and not shared with third parties for commercial use.
Content Review Cycle
Track content is reviewed between cohorts. Libraries, tooling and exercises are updated when the field has shifted materially.
Written Feedback
All reviewed exercises receive written feedback specific to that submission. Generic feedback is not acceptable under our internal quality standard.
Clear Limitations
The school does not arrange employment, issue accredited qualifications, or make outcome claims. These limitations are stated in plain language before enrolment.
